Our Essential Travel Resources :
There are plenty of travel companies, but these are our favorite websites and resources for planning an unforgettable trip. This post may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Car rentals are best through Discover Cars - just make sure to bring your international driver's permit with you! We always use Expedia's easy to use platform for comparing hotels. To keep cell service while traveling, we always use Airalo’s easy eSIM’s (no installation required). For fun things to do, we always recommend Viator to find the best tours in the America's and Europe, and Klook for tours in Asia. Just in case, Safetywing is what we use for travel insurance. Lastly, our packing list for any international or domestic travels. What to Expect on the NYC Donut Tour
We want to start out by pointing out that this isn't just a donut tasting tour, this is a walking tour of the city and some of the most unique areas and buildings, including the famous F.R.I.E.N.D.S apartment building and the Stonewall National Monument. We highly recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as the tour lasts anywhere from 1.5-2 hours, with 4 different donut stops during your tour. We listed each place we stopped at and the donuts we got to try at each place :
Our Favorite Tours in New York City :
- Empire State Building Entry - NYC Helicopter Tour - Statue of Liberty & Cruise Our Honest Review of the Underground Donut Tour
In our complete and honest opinion...this tour is AMAZING and we 100% recommend booking it for your next visit to New York City. Not only was it a great way to explore Greenwich Village and the surrounding area, but we also thought the portions were huge! We truly expected 4 small samplings or donuts, but between the two of us we ended up bringing about 4 full donuts home with us because we simply couldn't stuff them in. Our guide was also great, very kind and informative - and really made our tour fantastic. This is one of the most unique tours we've done and we would gladly do it again, whether in New York City or in any of the cities they now run this tour in!
