Best Places to Eat in Banff, Canada

Exploring a National Park can be hard enough, you shouldn't have to worry about finding the best place to eat after a long day of adventuring. After visiting Banff National Park for a week earlier this month, we went ahead and rounded up our favorites places to eat in the park! We've also included some places that come highly recommended, but we unfortunately didn't have time to stop at ourselves. We also think it is important to note that there is no where to eat at Lake Louise unless you are staying at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (only guests are allowed in the property there), with a few options at the tea houses that are open during summer months. Otherwise make sure to bring your own food! Lake Louise Market Grill is the closest grocery store to this area, and there is also a IGA in downtown Banff.

Breakfast

Wild Flour Bakery - for coffee, soup, and amazing baked goods
Bare Bistro - great eggs benedict with many other bakery options & desserts
Whitebark Cafe - local cafe that's been voted the Bow Valley's best coffee, their food options also meet the needs of many dietary restrictions
Juniper Bistro - located inside the Juniper Hotel, the Juniper Bistro has been voted the Bow Valley's best brunch!
The Vermillion Room - located inside the Fairmont Banff Springs, they have a Sunday brunch buffet
Nourish Bistro - they have an amazing weekend brunch with a great variety of food options
Farm & Fire - one place with a pretty large breakfast menu, it's also owned by the Pursuit Collection (who also runs the Banff Gondola, Lake Minnewanka Cruise & Columbia Icefield Skywalk)

Lake Louise Village Grill - nearby the grocery store we mentioned above, this upstairs grill has a large menu with pretty decent food and is one of the only options near Lake Louise
Bear Street Tavern - some of the best pizza we've had, they serve it up with chili oil and honey! (they also have a pretty decent drink menu which is why we've included them in both categories)
Eddie Burger Bar - great burgers and shakes! (they also have a surprisingly large drink menu which is why we've included them in both categories!)
Hankii Korean Street Food - my personal favorite stop, head here for a rice bowl, korean hotdogs, and sides!
Seoul Country Korean Restaurant - another great stop for Korean food, this nice sit down restaurant is located inside a mall on the second floor
El Toro Restaurant - we didn't stop here ourselves, but had lots of recommendations for this stop, their website says "Canadian food with a Spanish & Mexican influence"
Magpie & Stump - this Mexican restaurant was one place we were so bummed we didn't make it to! their menu looks awesome with a mix of tacos, burritos, and enchiladas!
Banff Poutine - what can we say they have great poutine, but they also have sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers and fries
Sky Bistro - located at the top of Banff Gondola, you'll have to either hike or take the ride up from the bottom - but it'll definitely be worth it! (even just for the views!)

Beaver Tails - a popular chain in Canada, we were pleasantly surprised during our first visit - you can get ice cream here but we highly recommend getting a beaver tail (traditional fry bread with toppings!)

Banff Ave. Brewing Co - great local beers and seems like they have great food too!
Bear Street Tavern - like we mentioned above, some of the best pizza we've had with a large selection of drinks!
Eddie Burger Bar - this spot was also listed in our lunch & dinner recommendations, but added here for their shockingly large selection of drinks as a burger joint!
