Located just on the outskirts of Crosby, Minnesota, this unique property has a mix of glamping style tents and adorable studio style cabins. Chances are, you've seen them floating around on socials, so you might be wondering if they're really worth they hype. Well, we've gone ahead and put together our honest review of our most recent experience there!

Our Essential Travel Resources :
There are a lot of travel companies out there, but some are better than others. These are our favorite websites and resources to help you plan an incredible trip.

For flights, we recommend using WayAway or Hopper to compare the cheapest dates to travel to your destination.

Car rentals comparisons are best through Discover Cars - just make sure to bring your international driver's permit with you if you're heading somewhere international!

We always use AGODA for hotels. They have an easy-to-use platform where you can compare the best rates.

To keep cell phone service if you're traveling internationally, we always use Airalo’s easy to purchase eSIM’s (no installation required).

For fun things to do, we always recommend Viator to find the best tours in the area, otherwise Klook also does the trick, especially for tours in Asia.

Just in case, Safetywing is the insurance I always use for travel insurance.

Lastly, my packing list for your international or domestic travels.

Basic Information

Cuyuna Cove is a small collection of Glamping Tents and Boutique Cabins located right on the outskirts of Crosby, Minnesota. Owned by Kelsey and Chris, this is their third rental property and from first impressions you know their hearts went into creating this space. Their boutique cabins are on one side of the property and open year round, with stunning floor to ceiling windows, kitchenettes, private bathrooms, and thoughtful details like a french press, games, and private patios with grills.

They allow one pet (with a fee) and have WiFi that makes it a perfect spot to "work from home" (or "work from cabin?"). Their glamping tents on the other hand are open during the warmer months of summer, and has queen beds as well as access to the onsite indoor/outdoor bathrooms. Both types of lodging have access to the outdoor fire pits and sauna! Situated right outside the Cuyuna State Recreation Area, during the winter they also rent out HOK skis and include 2 adult snowshoes with your stay (!!) and have a mountain bike station onsite!

Our Thoughts

First things first, this is the coziest stay we've ever had in Minnesota. We 1000% recommend that you book a stay here, especially if you're a local that's trying to embrace the cold winters. We felt so at home in our "Mangan" cabin, and we spent so much time just relaxing, playing board games, and exploring the Cuyuna Rec Area that we truly fell in love with Cuyuna Cove! We can't wait to be back one day! Plus, there are also so many things to do nearby - we went shopping, made our first charcuterie board with the help of nearby Shop Victual, and explored some of the nearby mine lakes! We highly recommend checking out the guide that is provided when you check in - there are so many hidden gems that Kelsey and Chris have included! Happy exploring!
