Our Essential Travel Resources :
There are plenty of travel companies, but these are our favorite websites and resources for planning an unforgettable trip. This post may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Car rentals are best through Discover Cars - just make sure to bring your international driver's permit with you! We always use Expedia's easy to use platform for comparing hotels. To keep cell service while traveling, we always use Airalo’s easy eSIM’s (no installation required). For fun things to do, we always recommend Viator to find the best tours in the America's and Europe, and Klook for tours in Asia. Just in case, Safetywing is what we use for travel insurance. Lastly, our packing list for any international or domestic travels. 7 Best Places to Eat in Mirissa
Oh La La - stop here for great fish and chips and a beautiful view of the ocean while still feeling a bit private, they also have a great mango juice and hummus platter!
A++ - located right on Mirissa beach, this spot is more popular with locals, they have a great mushroom burger & jackfruit burger!
Paradise Beach Club - also located right on Mirissa beach, we stopped here because they had an incredible deal on their seafood platter (8,000 rupee for the platter pictured above!) which was so delicious and fresh! if you have a sweet tooth they also have a great chocolate milkshake!
Pappagallo - this is a great spot to stop if you or someone in you're group is looking to surf - nestled between many surf schools and right near Turtle Bay, we would recommend stopping here for snacks and drinks (we loved their bruschetta & fries)
Our Favorite Tours near Mirissa :
- Snorkeling with Turtles - Snorkeling with Whales - Fishing Tour in Mirissa
Cafe M - located across the street from Squeeze Me, they have some great smoothie bowls! Pictured above is their avocado smoothie bowl - the only thing we would have preferred is if the smoothie came out chilled
The Avo Club - also located nearby Cafe M and Squeeze Me, this spot had a delicious Mexican rice with jackfruit - we wanted to go back another day but unfortunately their power was out
Sleek House - ok so this technically isn't a restaurant, but instead the Airbnb we stayed at - the reason we included them in this list is because they truly served the most incredible breakfasts - and we 1,000% recommend staying with them if you're wanting an included breakfast like what's pictured above every morning!
