Our Essential Travel Resources :
There are plenty of travel companies, but these are our favorite websites and resources for planning an unforgettable trip. This post may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Car rentals are best through Discover Cars - just make sure to bring your international driver's permit with you! We always use Expedia's easy to use platform for comparing hotels. To keep cell service while traveling, we always use Airalo’s easy eSIM’s (no installation required). For fun things to do, we always recommend Viator to find the best tours in the America's and Europe, and Klook for tours in Asia. Just in case, Safetywing is what we use for travel insurance. Lastly, our packing list for any international or domestic travels. Where to Stay in Jaisalmer
Finding a place to stay in India can be difficult, especially with the onslaught of fake reviews and photos. Personally, we stayed at the Deepak Hotel, which was located in the walls of the fort and had a stunning rooftop overlooking the edge of the fort. We would highly recommend this lodging option, and according to our guide the Nachna Haveli that overlooks the house of the Royal Family is nice as well. If you're unable to book either of these we would highly recommend beginning by looking for a place inside the fort.
Best Places to Eat in Jaisalmer (That Didn't Make Us Sick)

We've gathered our favorites below, but as long as you follow some simple rules (like not having tap ice or water and making sure it's a busy place that has food turnover rather than food just sitting out all day) then you should be fine for the most part! Read on for our list of our favorite places to eat in Jaisalmer!
