Our Essential Travel Resources :
There are plenty of travel companies, but these are our favorite websites and resources for planning an unforgettable trip. This post may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Car rentals are best through Discover Cars - just make sure to bring your international driver's permit with you! We always use Expedia's easy to use platform for comparing hotels. To keep cell service while traveling, we always use Airalo’s easy eSIM’s (no installation required). For fun things to do, we always recommend Viator to find the best tours in the America's and Europe, and Klook for tours in Asia. Just in case, Safetywing is what we use for travel insurance. Lastly, our packing list for any international or domestic travels. 8 Best Restaurants in Nusa Penida
Wyn's Cafe Penida - located right in town near the harbor, we loved their many vegan options like the tempeh wrap!
Happy Eating Penida - also located downtown, this spot was fantastic! we loved their smoothie bowl and toasts! (highly recommend the mushroom toast!)
Sunny Cafe - another cafe located downtown, they had delicious bruschetta and a vegan stir fry option!
MG Restaurant & Bar - located a bit north of town, we highly recommend coming here for a quiet breakfast with great options like the "american brekkie" (great if you're craving some american bacon!
Mixue - ok so this isn't necessarily a cafe, but this chain ice cream & boba spot has the perfect treat to cool down and is always busy!
Krusty Krab Penida - this spot on Nusa Penida wasn't our favorite in terms of food (let's just say the burger looked way better than it tasted) BUT it was a fun stop and so unique! when we visited they were even holding an english tutoring session on the other side of the restaurant for local kids!
Fly & Shine - located right outside of town, we stopped here for a quick snack, they had exceptional guac and chips, a great pineapple smoothie, and the cafe itself was adorable!
Organica - located near the Krusty Krab, this spot has incredible wood fired pizza, we highly recommend stopping here for a nice dinner, they even serve their own wine - plus you know Tyler had to include at least one pizza spot on our list
Other Places to Try - in addition to all the spots we've listed above, we also took note of some places we'd love to try the next time we're on the island including The Rich Penida and Penida Pantry - which we think is a health food grocery store!
